The first aircraft to land at Redcliffe did so in 1967, on what was then a very basic strip. Today, Redcliffe Aerodrome is a modern facility for light fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, and home to the Redcliffe Aero Club. The Club has a large clubhouse situated rigth next to the apron and new members are always welcome.
Janey Says: "If you are looking for a unique present for a teenager, contact the club about a Trial Introductory Flight (TIF), which provides the opportunity to get behind the controls of a real aircraft!"
